Hi - finally registered after lurking for ages - you all seem like a friendly bunch with great senses of humour also very knowledgeable (I shall be picking your brains - me thinks!!)

I'm relatively new to this photography lark - but am hooked already (oh dear - bank balance will not look so healthy soon!!

haven't got a 'specialist subject' (still trying to find it)

I have recently bought myself a Canon 400D. Snapping at anything and everything at the mo!

well that's all for now cos I can see this turning into a full blown autobiography
