Hi everyone. Was recommended this forum by a work colleague (Chameleon) and after being a member of several other forums, I've decided already that this one has a nice 'feel' to it, so instead of lurking thought I'd say Hi

Been interested in phorography for a few years now, just defected from Olympus to Nikon (only 7 weeks ago) and it's already the best decision I've made!

Anyhoo, enough gibbering! Looking forward to 'meeting' you all

recently upgraded to a D5000 too

David Busch book D5000 from Amazon is far better than the Nikon manual

if you have any specific questions, there is a D5000 thread......

hiya. yeah bought the book upon the forum's recommendations.. and it was cheap too. I wouldnt say i upgraded. I had oly e510 previously. great camera but for low light work and expanding the glass collection... it just wasnt to be
