Hi all,
Newbie to the forum...not really a newbie to photography though.
Started photography when i was about 12 with a compact camera, year later picked up a cheap 2nd hand SLR camera (no idea what make it was) it wasn't very good at all and eventually chewed up my films and wouldn't rewind correctly. So I bought a brand new Minolta 500si Super, which did plenty of mileage, i got all the kit ie. long lens, flashgun etc.. but eventually it died, decided not to have it fixed and got a video camera instead... and recently have had the bug to get back into photography, so i'm buying my mates Canon EOS 50e with 2 lens and flashgun - hopefully should be getting it next week - i feel like a kid again all excited.
i mainly take photos of rally cars, but also have a great interest in scenic shots..
Hoping to use the forum to admire others work and maybe ask any photography queries i have - when i get my new camera. Also hoping to enter some competitions just for fun.
