I'm new
I'm a hobby photographer, and I'm not very good. I've been taking photos on-and-off for 15 years now, but have been in a bit of dry spell as of late. But, it's getting warmer, I've recently moved to a new town, so now's a good time to kick-start things.
Over the years, I've played around with different styles and genres. What I seem to have landed on more recently is urban landscapes; specifically with a pretentious high contrast B&W red-filter look. You know, the sort of thing that A Level Photography students do. I lean towards wide angles, though, and I don't think I've ever taken a photo worth taking at more than 50mm. I have a knackered EOS 7D, with a collection of poorly-looked after lenses that are worth less than my electric toothbrush.
I hope that by sharing a digital space with people who are actually good, some of that might rub off on me.
Thanks in advance!
