Some of you might already know me and some of you wont.

Way back in the day before talkphotography and other forums :suspect: I knew one or two of you and we had a great time :thumbs: i fell victim to mental illness as you will know and i lacked any motivation and this included my interest in photography :'( I left the photography scene, didnt use MSN/email that much and lost touch with pretty much everyone i knew.

Well a lot has changed since then, ive grown up :razz: im no longer the loud mouthed gob s...... i used to be. hard to believe i know :lol:ive got married and got back to full time employment (not as rewarding as i remember though :()

Anyway long story short, im rekindling my lost interest in photography and have been lurking for a wee while and now all your troubles have blown over ive signed up and hope to learn more from you guys and have a good time on here :thumbs: :thumbs:

I have learnt a lot from the likes of Marcel and Steve over the years and i hope that will continue via this fine forum :)
 
Welcome back, Marcel still loiters, dont see much of steve though...

look forward to seeing some of your stuff

There's no chance of learning from me guys :p im pretty much back at square one, my pictures are not too good at the moment ill post one or two up later (im off out shortly) so people can help me work out where i went wrong.

I used to be a shoot now and think later kinda guy, problem with that is i always got home wondering why my pictures were pants or not as good as the folk i had been out with. Now i tend to think about the picture before hand and snap snap snap, but i still have a lot to learn - hence my presence here :)

Another problem i had, was that there wasnt any good photo opportunities on my doorstep - now i see them, all around me - i didnt before though and i dunno why.

I remember that, mr ZZ Top didnt know what hit him :lol: :lol: i still have the tendency to speak first and think later from time to time but im pretty quiet nowadays. There was a chav at the cash machine the other day taking his time and i shouted "oi ASBO hurry up!" i was more embaressed than he was, so ive gotta keep stchum plus that was the first in a long time for me :p
