hi just got my self a new camera its nothing special as i just wanted to learn and decide whether or not photography is for me so before i get a decent camera i got a 2nd hand fuji s6500fd its ok for now it has all the manual focus and manual mode im basically here to learn some techniques and how to use the different settings instead of just pointing and shooting in auto mode cheers lee
 
Hi Lee. Have had some experience with the 6500 (and Fuji's in general.) I would say it more than meets your needs. You'll be producing top class pics in no time! Welcome.
