Seeing as I've just registered I thought I'd just pop my head up above the gunwales and say "Hi" to everybody.
I'm an amateur photographer with some reasonable kit to play with. However, I don't get out very much due to private commitments and work. That said I hope to post some of my work occasionally and participate in discussion/critique.
As for photo genres, I like to photograph pretty much anything if it pricks my interest. In the past I've shot Mach Loop, various motor racing events at Silverstone, some landscape shots in Norfolk, The Lake District and, despite my efforts not to do so, my niece's wedding.
Another thing I enjoy is repairing old photographs in Photoshop, although I've not done many to be frank.
Anyway thanks for reading this far and I look forward to interacting with you all at some point or other.
