Hi, just signed up as I got my first DSLR. Always wanted to get into photography, my dad has been doing it for years and just handed me his old kit as he bought some new gear.

I'm a complete noob, will mainly be taking photos of my family, landscapes and my car!

hi and welcome along i only got my 1st dslr a few weeks ago and they are a helpful bunch on here

I've actually been keeping my eye on your lightroom post! I've used photoshop for years and not sure if Lightroom will be easier for photo editing.

Whats your kit?!?! Welcome hun. Newbie here also :)
 
I have a Sony A300 which is pretty old now. My dad just gave it to me as he's got himself some new gear. Have the following lenses; Sony 18-70mm, Tamaron Aspherical LD Di2 18-250mm and a Minolta AF Zoom 75-300mm. Lowest f stop is 3.6 I think so could do with a new lens although I'm considering getting new equipment altogether! We'll see!
