Hello there,

I am the newest newbie and have just arrived, everyone looks so friendly :) I have been interested in photography for quite a few years now and I own an Olympus e-420 - one day I would love to change this but its faithful and I love what I can do with it :lol:

I like trying all aspects of photography and set myself little projects - sometimes they don't always go to plan and I am always on the look out for new ideas and I like talking to like minded people who also carry their camera almost everywhere _ please tell me you also have friends who sigh at this but they have got used to it over the years and taken part in shoots with me.

I have my images on flicker but I can not seem to add this as a link on my profile page so I do not know if its permitted - and I also tried to add myself to the locations map but I think I ended up in Mongolia not where I should be :bonk:

I could rattle on but I don't want to wear out my welcome and I look forward to being part of this nice little community , thanks for having me :)
 
:wave: Hi Nicky - good to have you here.

There's a really useful tutorial here on how to add your Flickr stream to your signature which should help.
If you don't have any luck, start up a thread in the Forum Discussion area and there's bound to be somebody along shortly who can talk you through how to do it.

If you enjoy taking part in projects, also have a look at the links in my signature to see some of the things we have going on. There's a very active and supportive community taking part in some group challenges on the forum and newcomers are welcome to join in at any time even if they weren't here for the start of some of the longer running projects.

We're a friendly bunch, so have a look around and don't be afraid to join in :)

Hi to both of you and thanks for the warm welcome - and the advice as well I will join in and have a look around - cheers :-) and its good to know I am not the only one it shows our non photography friends have patience with us hey :-)
