Hello all

I'm Jacqui - spent a couple of hours having a browse around the site and decided to jump in! Been playing with photography for a couple of years, bought my D5000 at the end of 2010. It's something I really enjoy, although not very good with the technical side of things, and I HATE editing, so I try to compose my pics in a way that I won't need to do much (or anything!) with them later! Looking for tips and critiques!

Have just hired a 50 - 500 lens for whilst we're on holiday this week - hoping to see Golden Eagles in the Lake District (weather permitting!)

Welcome, Jacqui... are you aware that there is only one golden eagle in the Lake District?

welcome to TP= I shoot with a 150-500mm and spend a lot of time in the Lake District ( in fact Im driving up on Friday for a week around the Derwent Water area)

I have NEVER seen a Golden Eagle anywhere in Cumbria :shrug: so, good luck with that
