I'm Sophie. I've been taking standard photos for years with my little point and shoot which has now decided to give up the ghost! So, I have decided to take the opportunity to take the next step and treat myself to a dslr for my birthday/graduation present

I've had a look around the forum and it looks great for helpful tips and advice!
I'm planning on going into town to get myself a Nikon d3100 tomorrow so will hopefully have some beginner shots up on here soon!

Batteries charging now, I'm looking forward to having a play around with it in my break from revision!
