Hello everybody. Found Talk Photography by accident whilst looking for information about zoom lenses and found that the discussion on several threads here answered most of my questions. I am fairly new to digital photography - I've a Canon 30D which I have now found the time to learn to use. My first SLR, after a box brownie and an Agfa point and click was a Zenit 3M which I used for several years, processing my own B&W film. Later bought a second hand Canon AE1 which had the luxury of through the lens metering and a split ring for focusing, and is still working well. Am now wading through the range of programmes and options on the 30D. From the photosraphs that I've seen on this forum, I have a long way to go before my camera becomes the limiting factor in my photography!
