Was a keen photographer over 25 years ago, then got married and the kids came along so could no longer afford the film & processing. So all my gear sat it in its bag. (Have now given it to a young lady doing a collage course in photography)
Have now discovered digital and it seems after initial outlay of Camera, lens etc.. Far cheaper option with ability to take & view as many photos as I wish without any further outlay (or at least until the bug takes hold, then more equipment and larger prints are desired)
Im on a very low budget, so got myself a second hand Canon EOS 300D, 18 55, 75 300.
It seems everything I may have learned all those years ago is out of the window and now I need learn how to get the best out of this DSLR and the software to process half decent pictures.
This site seems to have loads of very friendly, experienced & helpful people so Im looking forward to learning from your advice and pictures and as I learn, hopefully being able to give something back to the members of the site myself.
