Hi, I'm Ben, I'm 15 years old and have recently got into photography. I joined this forum late last year, but have been really busy with school work and orchestra etc. so I haven't had time to post. I got my DSLR (Canon EOS 1000D) in october 2010, and have been trying to get used to it. But obviously I'm not an expert, so although I'm pleased with some of my pics, I'd love to improve them. I hope you guys can help me improve my photography skills, and maybe in a few years time I'll know what I'm doing and may be able to help others.
I'm mainly interested in macro photography, I find close up shots of insects amazing. I bought a Tamron 90mm 1:1 macro lens last December, and have been having great fun (I find flies greatly interesting, I never knew they were so hairy!).
And that's about it really.
