Well having lurked here for over a year, its time to finally say "hello".
Got a Pentax Kx about a year ago because I was looking for something to do low-light photography for work, and wasn't really sure how I'd find taking "proper" photographs... fortunetly I find I really enjoy it, even if I sometimes feel like I'm going backwards instead of forwards in quality
:bang:
My style of photography (the ones for pleasure anyway) is still pretty random as I try to find my feet - but I've found I love empty desolate places and industrial ruins, and don't like people - any people! - in the frame. Ultra-wide angles are also a favourite, which is one reason I'm looking to go FF at some stage this year, probably around when the D4/D800 is released. But enough about gear...
Anyway, I'll try to stick my head up randomly all over the place for a bit - there's still vast sections of the site I've not looked at, the number of sub-forums and users feels quite intimidating, I'm more of a small-forum person
!

I've been putting the odd post here and there, still too many sub-forums to cope with though.
