Hi I'm David from South Wales only recently got into photography properly with the purchase of my first SLR a second hand Canon 300D.
After my first few shots I was hooked on the image quality and 2 weeks later put it on Ebay and bought a 400D which will hopefully satisfy me for a bit longer than the 300D
Anyway Hi and I'm already enjoying the forums and can see the learning potential here

I spent several years in Talybont-on-Usk at my parents cottage

lovely place to be - wandered through the local mountains, Brecon Beacons, Abergavenny etc

I'm from Caerphilly 10mins outside Cardiff and your right about the mountains this is my window view

Ignore the quality of the pic it was the first hour of having myfirst SLR lol
