Hi everyone, Vix here, I know some of you from other forums but having finally got myself a 'proper' camera, feel that I am now able to post here :D

I've had an interest in photography for a while as it goes well with my two main hobbies, aviation and motorsport. I had a Powershot S70 for a few years until about 40 days into my 2009 365 project it gave up and I got a 'bridge' SX10.

Feeling limited with that, I've managed to bag myself a second hand 400D and kit lens, so I'm on the lookout for lenses to help with motorsport and aviation photography now!

You have some nice shots in your gallery Vix, prefer the landscape shots to the motorsport, even though Im a huge fan of motorsport I just dont like taking pictures of that sort of thing. Notice youve been to Trac Mon (Anglesey), very good circuit.

Thank you! I guess because I love watching motorsport, it doesn't hurt to take the camera but I don't claim to be that great at the photography side, mainly because I'm usually too caught up in the race! If I see an incident occurring, it's not a natural instinct to get the camera out, I'm more concerned about the outcome for the drivers!

Yep we did love the track at Anglesey but it is just such a long trail for us to get there, and with a trailer too it's not somewhere we will visit regularly!
