I'm Craig, and I'm looking to purchase my first DSLR camera, I was looking for advice and was told that this was the place to come to, so, here I am!!

I'll go and have a look around now, see if I can suss things out and post my questions in the right place.

the choice must be fairly wide and like cars you need to get to grips with what you need and not what you want...or what others have or want

good luck...i am on that particular investigation and have firstly chosen a marque..canon for no other reason than it seems popular but i will need to watch value for money
then i have started working my way up the various models including second hand and checking the camera reviews and user comments...if there are low comments i consider it would probably be me who got one of those...so i look for 4-5 rating or move up a model
