Hi everyone,
I have just joined today, my name is Izzy, and I was born and grew up in Rome, Italy; currently living with my partner and our little girl in Dewsbury. I have been into photography since I was little but my love for it really blossomed during high school/college as it was a subject of my degree (Art and Design).
At the time it was all done in film and, due to costs and then moving to UK in 1999, few years after finishing my degree I had to leave my passion on a side, I started to play again with a digital Fuji point and shoot and after meeting my partner I was generously allowed to use his gear (A Canon G10, and a Canon 50D and all his lenses and filters) We both share the love of photography and he introduced me to this site.
I am willing to learn more, and get some experience outside the studio -where my training was mainly obtained.
I like portraits and still life but I have just discovered outdoor photography and developed an obsession for skies.
What else... oh yes, as the digital has replaced film in most of the areas, I finally can give a go to the editing/developing side and loving it; especially the fact that you no longer need a dark room and can do anything comfortably sat in front of your PC
I guess it's enough, gonna zip it now.
Izzy
