exactly the same kit.....
except no Tamron
was looking at Jessops over Xmas on sale £99 - now up to £169 ......:bang:
but did buy a 35mm f1.8 from here --- very nice and useful

ps --when i bought my D40 - the owners manual was rubbish....printed in grey text !
have a look at "Nikon D40 Digital Field Guide (Paperback)" at Amazon Books <£10...well worth it

Very good advice, thanks, I ordered one from Amazon on Tuesday and it came this morning, I'm about 1/3 rd of the way through but keep coming back to forum to read posts and look at photos Getting a lens on Saturday so should be taking photos soon

No.

I got it secondhand last week from off Ebay from a local guy, I brought just the body its only took approx 700 shots, I havn't used it yet as I don't have a lens (getting it saturday 18-200mm ) I'll post some pictures and let you know how easy or not it is to use

That guide sounds very useful might have to keep my eye out for one of those. In refernce to the tamron have a look on warehouse express thats where mine came from

hmmmm still £££ to move from 200 to 300mm

Jessops £99 was a real bargain -- teach me to wait !......:bang:
