Hello everyone 
New to the forum but liking it already
Been looking through the photo sections and some are really good i thought, great inspiration.
I'm relatively new to photography but a few months back i bought an Olympus XA2 which is great fun, got some pretty nice pics
Although its fun it is quite costly buying film and getting it developed, £5+ a go 
I've been looking at DSLR's and think that's what im going to buy next, the quality of shots you can get from them are outstanding and you don't have to develop films, etc...
Been looking at the Nikon D40 and hopefully in a few weeks time when i;ve saved up that is what i will be buying! I've been looking through Ken Rockewell's website and it would seem he can't praise it enough! I know it only has a few AF points and no built in focus motor, and other minor things, but it seems like a great starter camera to me... If anyone has any other suggestions or advice then i would really appreciate it
