Hi, another new guy here, returning to photography after many years
My first camera was a Fed 4 rangefinder in around 1980, then got a Canon AE1 for my 21st a year later (still got it, but the shutter is seized). I used mainly b&w back then, using my bedroom as a darkroom with surprisingly good results.
I've had a Canon A620 for a few years now, mainly using it just for snaps but my interest has been renewed after recently getting Photoshop! I dabbled with Photoshop a few years ago but mainly with graphics, not photos.
Anyway, I've been digging out some disappointing snaps and after a bit of PP, I'm excited by the results. I love Photoshop and it's great to be able to combine the two interests and to be able to create some nice pics for the bare walls of this house.
Funny how Canon gear continues to appeal to me.. I'm fancying a Canon G11 but the Missus isn't co-operating... yet
