But you all knew that already !!
I've done some film photography with a Canon A1 but haven't used it for years. I've used a simple digi-compact more recently but the images it produces have always been a bit disappointing. ( I've still got the A1 and it still looks and works like new!)
I'm also keen on astrophotography and have a dedicated astro camera with a Newtonian telescope for taking long exposure deep sky images.
Any way, I was never happy with the digi-compact image quality and bought a Nikon D3000 earlier in the year and I'm really pleased with it but I'm looking forward to see what the D90 replacement is like with the aim of getting an 'upgrade' in theNew year.
And many thanks to Marcel (one of the admin) for patiently putting up with the e-mail problem at my end when I was trying to register.
