My name is Bernard. I live in Clayton, Bradford. West York's.
I started doing photography about 30 years ago, with a 12 years break.
However, about 2 years ago I got the urge to take it up again, but in the digital era. I got myself an Olympus compact C-765 as an introduction into the digital world and with Photoshop I enjoy it more than before.

So, I have just got myself a Canon 400D. It only has the kit lens at the moment, I am considering a Sigma 24-70 F2.8 and a Sigma 70-200 or 70-300? soon.

I was told about this forum by a young lady at the Clayton christmas street fair. I noticed her Canon camera, so that gave me an excuse to start a conversation.

One of the best photo's i've seen recently was of the Mont Saint Michel; a prmotional shot using the 400d. Look forward to seeing some of your work.

Congratulations on your purchase, I'm sure you wont be disappointed. The 400D is pefectly capable of producing some excellent results.
