Well I thought it was long overdue to come and say hi to everyone 
I joined a while back when I was searching for my first dSLR - which turned out to be a Canon EOS 500D - chuffed with it's performance and getting braver all the time (sometimes I even put it in manual/semi-manual!)
Still only have the stock 18-55mm lens but now itching for something with a bigger magnification so now on the lookout for some new glass to play with. Still a total novice but learning more each time I take the camera out for some shoots
