Hello. I've just registered on here because I wanted a UK based forum specifically. I've had various cameras for years but I've always been a bit of a dabbler without really knowing what I'm doing. I've taken the odd good photo more by luck than judgement.

I've just bought a Nikon D750 (I've also got a D7100) so thought I'd better start learning how to use them properly and do them justice. I think my incentive came from looking at photographs on Flickr and wishing I could take shots at least half as good. Here seems to be a good place to learn, using the collective experience rather than reading the odd book and that person's opinion on how to take photos. I think it will be a while before I have the confidence to post any of my stuff on here though.
