like stated to me they seem like decent pics and at the minute im really happy with what the camera can produce with a little editing. but i will also take constructive critism

I wouldnt say they were bad pictures, There well exposed, colourfull and sharp although i'm not too keen on lens flare on 1#, but imo there nothing more than snapshots.

hot shots: your right they are just snapshots which where taken while i was getting used to the camera like the features etc, yeh i didnt think much of the glare on the first pic but like the natural light against it etc. thanks for your opinion :)

mark mullen: hey mark what part of the NE are you from? i really like the pic in question, thats my daughter on the trapoline as same in the pic shes playing with the iphone. i'll have a go at cropping it down as i never thought of doing it that way. i liked how the fence was sort of blurred out in the background, also thank you for your comment :)

you where definatly right about the cropping of the photo, seems to make it look a lot better with her more in the frame, again this is a whole new thing to me and i am really enjoying it, which is why i joined the forum to get comments and tips off the more ''pro'' photographers..

Yeh I'm really happy with how it's come out with the crop. Thank you for the advice really appreciate it :)

somemore pictures i have had a play around with, again just random snapshots while getting used to the camera. comments please

I Lee, good to see another fellow Boro lad on here.

I think one of the best bits of advice I was given when I first started this was to really concentrate on the composition of your shots, particularly what's in the background. There is loads of great advice on here and it's amazing how much little things can make a big difference.

I havent really had chance to get the camera out and about with the beautiful Middlesbrough weather we have been having so just taking pictures at the times that I can. One with the kids on the trampoline and the BBQ where taken for my daughters birthday which a little after them photos where taken it poured down with rain as usual. Taking a trip to london the end of next month with the mrs so should really get to grips with the camera then....hopefully!
