Well I made a few posts elsewhere so thought I'd better introduce myself a little bit.
I'm a middle aged photography nutter and have been for over 40 of my 47 years.
My first camera was a original Box Brownie.
Then a Halina 35x with range-finder attachment and separate light meter.
Certainly not a P&S.
Brilliant gear for learning the relationship between light and my equipment and how to use it.
Moved onto SLR with pentax and then to Nikon where I have been ever since. (Canon just don't fit my hands well)
Photography has taken a back seat for the last couple of years due to home and business moves (Now in South Lincolnshire and loving it) but I am soon to move into the digital age with my gear and start afresh.
Subject wise I'll take a shot of anything I might see but I really love Wildlife, Aviation and Motorsport.
I'm looking forward to a long relationship here where I can learn a great deal.
