Hello i am Doug.

I have only just started out in the photograph world!!

after much delebration over which manufacture to follow i chose Nikon!!

I hope i chose well as i dont realy have a clue to what i am doing at the moment!!!

Its not the make/name of camera that really matters - its what you can do with it that really counts... Which in short is to get out there & use it - practice makes perfect as they say..

I'm sure that if you need help with anything then all you have to do is ask - there is usually always help at hand... Regardless of what make of camera they have...

as work mis hit an miss at the moment i am trying to get out as mush as i can to use the cammera, just having trouble getting to grips with al the buttons (i am more use to point and shoot stuff!)

Which camera are you trying to get to grips with?

It is a d5000 with kit lens (18-55vr) and just purchased a used 55-200 non vr
