Good evening folks,

Thought I would share a friendly hello to all.

I used to be an avid photographer for many years but gave it up to pursue my passion for building RCs.
Kind of back now as I look to blend the two hobbies together.

Hi, And welcome aboard TP, looking forward to hearing from you and maybe seeing some of your images on the various forums. "Enjoy"

Thanks dude!

I used to be a member on here years ago (Stupar) but due to personal reasons asked (the now late Cobra) to have my TP footprint removed.

I'm in the midst of asking the mods if it's OK to rejoin........this might be a shortlived welcome

Welcome aboard Stuart. RC is fun, done it on off over the years with cars and helicopters. I sort of find photography is not my "main" interest, however seem to be pursuiong it a bit more with landscapes when I can as I am worried about losing the action of my legs (not losing to amputation) and I sort of feel use it or lose it, if I'm going to lose the use then make hay while the sun shines. Been Dartmoor twice this week.

So trying to diversify my photography a bit I might end up getting a dedicated street lens and return to doing that as I used to do it with film and had lots of fun doing it. I don't know, a table top set up and have a go at that with lighting, the possibilities are endless. Be nice to see some RC action from your photgraphy - the cars I used to do was 1/12th scale and buggies 1/10th scale. Helicopters were 410 electirc or .50nitro.

Treated myself to something indulgent for when the time comes I cannot do any sport anymore, not camera related as that needs an element of physicality and I think what I already have will serve me well. Canon R7 and 6D2.

Well come and enjoy the offerings of TP.

Hey fella,

Thanks for the welcome message!

I'm kind of the polar opposite to you.
I used to do lots of landscape photography but with a young family and no car I felt like I was tramping the same ground over and over.

That's why I fell back into RC as it's easier to do from home plus I started doing commission builds which zapped up my time no end.

My favourite RCs are scale builds/replicas. Painstaking but so enjoyable and rewarding.

Here's my last two builds that I completed recently

Hi and welcome to the forum, enjoy :)

Welcome back, I remember you as Stupar.

Haven't done RC for nearly 30 years, used to fly although it was also good to start our son off with cars when he was small. Your models look great!
