Hello - New member from Dorset

Good morning,

I am new to the forums and photography, I frequent forums for my other hobbies so I thought I would give this a try. Myself and my wife brought a camera each last week and have gone out most evenings and throughout the weekend.

I have set myself up a Flickr account but I do not know the link rules on here so I will not link it, I have taken a few photos which I think are ok, I don't quite have steady enough hands just yet.

I enjoy going out around the Purbeck's and snapping away at anything and everything, although I seem to be leaning more towards landscapes etc

Any advice and help would be brilliant as I have literally had my camera 5 days!

Thank you for the warm welcome, I do have a couple of questions regarding the best lens to buy for long range photos and up close insect scale photos

I have found a couple of Ebay however they are <£100 so I am assuming they wont be great, what sort of things should I be looking at when I buy them? I have a Nikon 3000d
