What a freaking fantastic job you've got Chris. So envious of people who can make a living doing something they love. Who was the last Hawk? How many birds have you got?

Having watched it a couple of times Sarah I think that its "Titch" he's a Harris Hawk,
the little b****r went "feral" on me, took 5 days to get him back,
and he was sold after that.
I can't have unreliable hawks ;)
I just have 2 at the moment "storm" the Pere x Lanner
and fat git the Harris Hawk.

But I might be training another during the summer, Possibly a Pere x Saker.
But that all depends on whether the landfill closes at the end of the year or not.

Yes the job is good fun, it has its moments and like any job can get boring
at times ;)

put a spud in the rayburn when I went off to work this morning, cooked perfectly when I finished, delicious with grated cheese, that's me fed for the day:)

Tis a bit hard to burn things in the rayburn, it's a bit like a slow cooker,great if you are out for the day
 
I burn everything Ingrid I really am rubbish! If I had a rayburn I swear I would learn to cook properly. I even burn things in my slo cooker :'(

I thought you were all as hard as nails?! Do you know Scott Quinell? I met him just before xmas at a rugby do in Colchester (I go a fair bit) he is a mammoth of a man!! About 6 foot 6 ish? And apparently his brothers are taller?! Nice man though :)

Never met him I'm afraid.

When your standing there absolutely soaking wet and freezing cold, doesn't appeal to me I'm afraid. :shake: Also I do it voluntarily.:)

I am fiddling with my flickr's at the moment.

Hello Martin. I just had a look at your Flickr- lots of men in shorts, some of them quite good looking. I resisted posting any naughty comments below them :lol: No wonder Tori goes to meet them sometimes!
