I'm still waiting to hear no news as yet though :(
Glad your friends / relations are OK

Over 90,000 have lost power - I've had one communication via twitter just to say they had got thru the night, but didn't know if they still had a roof... dawgs and cat wer hunkered down too and all OK :) would imagine most folk are saving their phones etc for emergencies until they get power.

Hope you hear from your cousin soon and all will be OK.... good news is, not one death reported so far - well, that's more important than anything.

Scary sheeeeeeeeit out there. And the US... Boston... friends in Chicago... they had 20inch, no power - 3rd worst storm ever - haven't heard from all of them yet.

ha, we complain about piddly mizzle! :D

<and here endeth the world weather report - bruhahahaha>

It's not good is it, been through it s few years ago with one of the bush fires.
Hope you both get good news soon :hug2: for you all

LOL yep I am sure they will be fine ;)
Gotta friend in NE SD USA
he has several feet or snow in his "back yard" almost 10 feet drifts
and as of today -30oC life goes on though ;)

Thanks Ingrid

Most of my friends are in USA (lived there for a few years), Canada and Aus... every year we sit and wait for news...great cyber community support ;) the bushfires last year in Victoria, Oz... well, very scary when someone is sitting looking out there window and watching the fire coming towards them... the last 2 years out there have been horrendous. Such extremes, hard to imagine.

gotta keep smilin' a?

There's always one that has to show off
and is never satisfied :D

it can't be any worse than here
Its been bloody cold wet windy
and even a few flakes of snow all in less than a week
I think I should either
1) hibernate
2) move somewhere warmer
that all depends on
3) winning the lottery though lol

All three options sound pretty attractive to me :D

I must confess I did "win"
both the UK and Euro lottery the other week when they were
both "roll overs" for an £8 stake I won the grand total of.......................

£17.20p is that enough for an air ticket somewhere  :D

Pleased to hear your cousin is ok Chris, bet that's a relief

Well dunno what you've done to upset the powers that be but I've had brilliant sunshone today too, albeit a cold wind
Well they do say the sun shines n the righteous :p

Aww sounds nasty, sorry to here that mate

He's a great athlete, footballer and all round sportsman.

Had a pain in his knee for a while and they treated it as a football injury, strapped it up. Went to see a specialist who immediately ordered an MRI scan and then found out he has a tumor, so he has been referred to a top orthopedic hospital.
