Hello!

I've just joined up to this site in advance of buying my first 'propper' camera!..

Looking forward to using the site :)

I'd reeeaaallllyyyy appreciate some advice on what sort of camera to buy with a buget of around £300 (pretty small I know), I'm a complete virgin to all of this so any help would be greatly appreciated! Should I post somewehere else to ask advice on this - still navigating my way around the site!

Hi Jess,

welcome to the forums, plenty of experts on here to give you advice. Might be worth you popping into a camera store like jessops, having a play with a few makes/models and then asksing for some advice from the folks on here, at least that way you will have narrowed it down slightly by what feels good in your hands :)
