Beginner Hello Hello.....!

Hi everyone thought i would pop in and say hi after being a reader of the forum for a while now....

My names Matt, im 29 from Bristol and after being out and about with my dad growing up looking at some amazing photos on his film SLR, ive been bought a D3300 and 18-55 kit lens and getting as much practice as i can!

Im using A mode and getting used to all the different settings etc, this forum is a great source of info.

Im a particular fan of the countryside so landscape shots and wildlife will be high on my agenda as well as day to day shots of days out etc.

I am looking for someone in the south west to meet up with too, to help my maximise what i can learn with the camera and also to have a shooting buddy - message me if so please,

Welcome Matt, you will find a vast amount of help and tuition here at Talk photography. Take small steps and ask plenty of questions, no matter how silly they might seem to you.

Do what I did and join a local photography group. Lots of tips from groups. I use an entry level Nikon D3100 which is second hand... Also use a Samsung Bridge Camera..
