Hey everybody, you'll have to forgive me but I am complete rookie in the world of photography. I've always been interested in taking great pictures on my iPhone (don't laugh!) but always wondered what I could fork out with proper gear. I'm huge into my music and follow a few bands that assign photographers to take their shots at all their gigs. Reading a little more into these photographers' backgrounds they basically started from nothing, picked up a camera one day and decided to pursue something they love. So it made me think, how many of you use photography as your full time income/job? I know it's not an overnight cure to every problem ever (otherwise everybody would do it) but I'm a real strong believer in doing something you love as a career. Any inspirational stories to share?

By the way, I'm 23, from Worcestershire area which poses alot of great photograph opportunities as some of you will know! Pleased to meet you all!
