Hey, everyone!
My name is Ornella (but you may call me Nell), I'm 21 years old and an amateur photographer.
This is my first time joining a photography oriented forum, since I figured this would be the best place to get tips and ideas on how to expand my limited knowledge about photography. I've never attended courses or studied it properly, so anything I may know is purely self taught and learned here and there out of experience. So I'd love to change that aspect as soon as I can.
Particularly, I would love to delve into film photography. I've always been enamored and fascinated about it ever since I gained an interest in photography in general. I'm really passionate about it and it's something I really want to learn properly how to do, mainly for myself and not commercial use. I'm aware that film photography can be quite a hassle/investment, but I feel that if you're into something enough and are genuinely passionate about it, then every pence is worth the trouble. I already own circa 10 misc. film cameras, my current favourite one being my Minolta Dynax 7000i with Sigma 28-200mm lens, which I sadly don't know how to use yet.
I've been living in the UK for a little over a year now and have finally managed to settle down in a more sedentary lifestyle, which enables me to rediscover all the things I'm passionate about and want to do as a dedicated hobby. Hoping this lovely forum can give me a hand in doing so!
Currently, I've purchased the FujiFilm Instax 90 Neo Classic, a simple yet resourceful instant camera that has managed to quench my film photography urges momentarily.
