Hi all,

I've been lurking for a few weeks now, and reading a lot of threads, so I thought it was about time I said hallo.

I have been interested in photography for many years, and have recently started to wish to get back into it after a bit of a lull. I guess most of my photos in the past have been just shots of places I've been and events I've been to (including the Rally GB every year, and a few other rallies around Europe).

So anyway yep, this looks like a good forum so hello all and I'll get stuck into a few threads...

Just a quick update, if I may, to my own newbie post. I've just bought a 1D mk I on eBay and I can't wait to get my hands on it! I know the mkI is a few years old now, but it will still be far and away the best bit of kit I've ever had my hands on - I'm really excited :)

I'm going down to South Wales for the Rally GB, and will be at Shakedown on Thursday and Hafren Sweet Lamb on the Friday. What better location to test out my new toy...
