Hi guys. New to the forum but been reading for a while and finding the advice really helpful. Got a 60d finally after convincing the other half "it was a gd idea". Only got 18-55mm kit lens at the no but looking to quickly expand. I've been into aeronautical and military aircraft for a while and astronomy is my other big passion so the photography goes hand in hand. Been using compacts for many years so have taken the step up!

Will post some shots as soon as I get going......looking forward to getting my astro stuff up on here

Hi Mike, you have joined a great Forum, good bunch of lads around Warrington so keep looking on the Meeting Places section and others for meets and studio shoots.
You'll be at home close to Jodrell Bank then

Definitely! Am looking to go to a local group in Grappenhall soon. I'm a member of Liverpool astro society so get to visit loads of places
