Hi all, I'm from the outskirts of South East London and I've always been interested in photography, but only used a DSLR for the first time a couple of months ago, when I borrowed a friend's. Since then I've taken it more and more seriously, going on photography trips with the friend, using his old Sony A200 (he upgraded to a second hand Canon EOS 1D Mk II N) and borrowing his 1D when he wasn't using it to have a bit of fun. I finally bit the bullet myself last week when I found myself enjoying it a lot, and bought a used 40D with the 17-85 IS USM kit lens, which should be arriving in the next couple of days. I can't wait!
