Hello from the Highlands

Just joined the site today and wanted to say hello to you all. As a photographer I've started to take photos seriously in the last 2 years and earlier this year I sold my digital gear to buy film gear and explore the analogue process of taking pictures developing the negatives and printing the final image.

As very few teachers are around to help I've undertaken to teach myself and I hope you will help me at the times when I get confused and baffled .. happens frequently

Welcome Eric - I am sure that you'll find masses of info in the film section, there's some real enthusiasts in there. Interesting to hear you going from digital to film, I would have expected most to go in the opposite direction!
