Hi all,
I really enjoyed film photography as a kid - my Dad teaching me to use his Olympus OM-2 through my childhood and developing film myself at the school photography club.
Unfortunately my interest completely through the digital era it seemed the choice was a small uninvolved P&S that took poor photos in comparison to film, or to spend a vast amount on a huge SLR with a myriad of settings to match it.
What got me interested again was the Olympus micro four thirds prototype. Never mind losing the mirror box - a small camera with interchangeable lenses seemed like the camera from my childhood.
It took 3 years for the system to mature enough for me to invest, and now I am starting out as a digital photographer with my Olypmpus E-PM1 and a few primes I have collected over the last 4 months, with a view to an OM-D one day
