Hi all,

Just joined the forum, been sneakily reading posts for a while, but never joined!

Ive been into photography for Ages, but never had the time or cash to invest in kit until recently. About a year ago I bought a pre loved Canon 350d to ease myself into dslr photography and haven't looked back since.

In the process of making my mind up on which kit to get, which appears to be a perpetual thing!

Hope to share some discussion, comments and shots soon.

Hi Aran,

Welcome. There's a fair few of us from Lancashire/Fylde Coast and often meet up to do a bit of photography. Everyone is welcome, just keep an eye on the Meeting Place forum.

To answer Rick, I'm into almost any photography. I've been doing some light painting/wire wool over the dark winter months.

I like to do a bit of urbex too, more for the photography than the actual exploration. I also never pass up the chance to capture a landscape or two aswell.

If you count taking photos of my kids you could throw in a bit of portrait too.

I love to see street photography, but am too chicken **** to acually get out and do it!

was shooting streets in blackpool about 2 weeks ago when we had the gorgeous weather. but tbh - didn't feel the vibe/energy from there. it seemed more down then for example manchester. the bus ticket is the same price for me so definitely will visit again :D

You should come back in the height of the season when the streets are paved with puke and drunken idiots! theres defo great street photog to be had then!

Thanks, I'm just process of deciding on a 60d or sticking with 350 and getting a 10-20mm lens or similar.
