Hi everyone!

My name is Carl and I'm an amateur nature photographer from the beautiful County of Somerset.
I've been putting my pictures on the internet for years, so some of you may know of me, I've certainly seen a couple of names that I'm familiar with whilst briefly browsing the forums here!
Never knew this site existed, it seems to be a great place for photography discussion with like-minded people!
I look forward to taking part and learning a thing or 5! :)

Do put some links in your signature to share some imagery and as George says your contributions to the various fora.

FWIW we have family in Somerset (Frome/Trowbridge areas) but have not really seen much of the county to visit.

Hi Box Brownie!

I will post some links in my signature once I learn how to do so! As you can imagine, new here, going to take a while to discover how it all works!

Trowbridge/Frome areas are nice, but for nature photography you can't beat heading further south to the Somerset Levels where I am lucky enough to live, it's stunning! :)

You were a lifesaver!
I visited Westhay on my way back from working in Bristol this morning, caught a nice Bittern in flight! :)
