Howdy,

My name is Rich and im recently new to the area of Norfolk (well ive been here for a year now actually) and i'm just about to move to Downham Market

I've been lurking here for some time now - and only decided to register yesterday.

Must say I have found the tutorials quite useful :thumbs:

I've been into photography for some time now, but only recently have found the funds to get back into it more seriously

My current kit is:

1000D + 18-55 Kit lens
50mm f1.8
70-200 f2.8 IS USM

Jessops 360 flash / Hahnel wireless triggers / reflectors / stand / umbrella


Looking to make the move to a 5D Mk2 as soon as the right one becomes available :razz:

Anyway, you wont see me post much thats useful since I dont really know more than anyone else here im sure, so nothing I could contribute would be that worthwhile. :bonk:

I'd also be interested in chatting to any local memberrs who are part of clubs or know of any events in the area.

Hi Richard, welcome to Talk Photography. There are all types of people on TP, dont worry if you don't feel your not the next expert on the block. Another ones opinions is mostly what threads are about. I'm sure you will be posting lots.
 
Hi Rich.. nice to another local :D

I'm not sure how local you count as local, but there are a couple of clubs about in 'Lynn. There's a full blown photography club in town and a less formal Flickr-based group.

A warm welcome to the forum. I'm based near Wymondham and go to a club in Tibenham. May be a bit too far for you. Anyway enjoy the forum.
