Hello!

Only just discovered these forums but have been slowing getting more and more into photography, so figured this looks a pretty good place to join :)

I'm by no means a photographer but do enjoy taking photos, so hopefully I can pick-up some pointers and tips from the many talented photographers on here and get my photos looking a little less like snaps and more like proper photographs. My job certainly takes me to some fantastic places with some amazing photo opportunities which I'm keen to take advantage of.

I'm also keeping a 365 on Flickr which I've focused around my job. Please feel free to take a look and comment on. I look forward to posting more on here but for now, here's one of my favourite photos from my 365 so far:

Hi and welcome. I'm liking the photo and Im sure you can pick up lots from this forum. I love south east Asia, I got married in Sri Lanka, honeymoon and had a holiday in the Maldives, plus done most of Thailand. We had Indonesia and Malaysia for our next adventure.....but days nefore booking my wife got pregnant. My son owes me a holiday!

I'm keen to start upping my game photography wise (although only at an amateur level), so will try to contribute to these forums more and more. I notice this week's 52 theme is "urban" which I will give a go, as I have a couple of days off before Sunday.
