Just arrived! I'm having trouble with a few aspects of my photography so I'm here to learn. Looks like a great forum, thankyou for having me.

Welcome to the forum. One of my ancestors was once mayor of Salisbury (14th century)

Welcome, I'm not that far from Salisbury, lots to photograph in the area.
 
I was born in Beatrice Ward in the old Royal Infirmary in Fisherton Street and lived in Beatrice Road for my first four years. We then moved to London and it took me fifty years to get back to Wiltshire; I now live in Devizes.

You know that stripe across the Market place that's a different pattern to the rest of the paving? That's a public right-of-way and, somewhen in the early fifties, my father sued the Council to make sure it wasn't lost.

Interesting. Do you know about the tunnels underneath the Old Manor.
