Hi all,

Complete newbie to photography, but already learned heaps through this site, thanks folks. Just bought my Nikon D3100 last Saturday and am loving it, only have the kit 18-55mm lens at the moment but am really enjoying the learning experience, including the post production element of things.

I race motorcycles so really want to graduate to a telephoto lens at some point in the future so that I can snap some folks in between my sessions, but really quite content to walk before I can run. Just been given free reign to walk around and shoot my local wind farm which I'm really excited about too

p.s. My user name should have been "The Grumpy Badger" but i've managed my first forum faux par, any ideas how I can get this changed......?

Paul, I've never had the pleasure of cadwell in the summer unfortunately, February pre season testing tends to be touch and go..... But it's a stonking circuit and there seems to be a lot if places to shoot in the woodland section.
