Hi Guys and Girls,

Complete and utter Noob here, just about to be gifted a Canon 500D for Xmas as an upgrade from my point and shoot. Get ready for loads of stupid questions!
As you can see from my username I live in Leeds, but am a huge supporter of Norwich City football club.
Oh yeah, I should mention its Slimbert's fault I'm here :razz:

There are no stupid questions. Have a look in the tutorials section for starters, there's some great stuff in there to get you a feel for your new camera :thumbs:

TP is like most things in life, you get out what you put in.....get snapping, ask loads of questions and post your results up on here for honest comments, don't sulk when people say they don't like them, and you'll soon be taking great pictures of the little'uns!! :thumbs:

I always find it strange that you're a Norwich supporter living in Leeds, and I'm a Leeds supporter living in Norwich!! :thinking: :shrug:

Anyway, nice to see you've bought the right brand of camera.....and I look forward to seeing your first photos, which I'm presumming will be of Ambers first xmas day??!! ;)
