Just saying hi. I joined the forum a couple of years ago but never really got stuck in. I've started to use my 350d more and more since then and am looking to upgrade, most probably to a 60d unless anyone wants to convince me otherwise.

I'll be posting some of my favourite shots in the feedback section shortly and hopefully get some honest critique.

Welcome to the forum, I had a 350 and was torn between the 60 and 7.... In the end I went for the 7 but I'm sure you'll be glad you upgraded if you do do it!

Seeing as no one else has done it yet, I shall convince you out of a 60d, get a Nikon, smart choice :thumbs:
 
Thanks Alex, I'm definitely sticking with Canon though, I just feel more comfortable with them.

As for 7d vs 60d, I don't think I need the better focusing system of the 7d as I won't be shooting fast action in particular. I'll mostly be doing landscapes and street photography.

I was half considering a second hand 50d and put the saving towards lenses or even a 5d mk1 but fear that may push the cost of everything up another level that I don't really need.

Quite a few in from Nottingham. Whatton too! I used to live in Aslockton, wish I still did to be honest, it is lovely round the Vale of Belvoir.

Off topic, but did anyone see this , could make an interesting and unique photo.
 
Hi from Sherwood, Its Nottingham Light Night this Friday if anyones going I will be there, well I will be in the castle grounds great for night shots.
